Why should I book Perfect Day Beauty?
Great question! I hope it's because you love my portfolio and think we would work well together. I am here to provide you with not only long-lasting photo-ready hair + makeup but also be a person you can count on. I know how important this event is to you and I want you to feel like you've never looked better. Your vision matters to me.
When should I book?
The sooner the better. I have clients book my services anywhere from a year in advance to 2 weeks out.
How do I book you? What does the booking process look like?
If you have reviewed my portfolio and pricing and you're ready to see if your date is available, just send me an email OR head over to the Get In Touch page and fill out the contact form. Once I have received your email I'll check my calendar and let you know if your date is open. For wedding parties, I'll email over a questionnaire to gather your info for the contract and invoice. Once you've filled out that questionnaire, I will create your wedding day contract and send it over to be signed along with an invoice for your retainer. Services are booked on a first-come, first reserve basis. In order to reserve your date, I require a signed contract and a retainer (retainer amount is 50% of total services). Services booked within four weeks of the event date require payment in full. Once both the signed contract and retainer are received, your date will be reserved. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferrable to another date or service.
Do you offer bride only bookings?
Yes, of course! During peak wedding season ( Saturdays/Sundays May, June, September, & October ) my service minimum is $500. You can meet the minimum services for yourself or other guests.
Can you come to me to do my hair + makeup?
Yes! I am an on-location freelance hair + makeup artist so that means I come to you for services. If we need a space to meet at, I am a member of the Collective615 and we can utilize this space for trials and any other appointment with only one client, hair + makeup services. For wedding days, I will always come to your venue, hotel, airbnb, etc.
When should I book my trial?
This depends on where you're at in the wedding planning process and how much time you have until your wedding. If you are the type of bride that wants to see if our personalities mesh well and you prefer to sample before you buy then let's get your trial on the books now. If you have fallen in love with my work and are 100% ready to book your wedding then I typically do trials about 4-6 weeks out from your wedding date. We can schedule your trial now or about 8 weeks out from your wedding so you know what your schedule looks like. Please keep in mind I only do trials Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10am to 4pm.
What should I expect at a trial?
During your trial, we will sit down and discuss your hair and makeup vision for your wedding day as well as any last-minute details we need to work out. You get 2 hours for one hair look and one makeup look. Small adjustments are to be expected if necessary. If you are wanting to try out more than one look and expect to be longer than 2 hours there will be additional hourly charges or we may need to book a separate trial for another day. If you are a Pinterest bride and have a whole vision board of hair and makeup looks, you may add me to your board to view or you can show me at your appointment. Please look for inspiration pictures of people with similar skin tones, hair colors, and eye shapes. Trials are booked and paid for separately from your wedding day invoices.
Do you only do hair + makeup for weddings?

Perfect Day Beauty also provides makeup services for engagements and bridal showers, special events such as proms, anniversaries, galas, and holiday parties, boudoir and maternity photography, family and senior portraits, any and all types of photography, personal makeup lessons, and everyday makeup.
